HAUL ASS, NOT CARGO In 2019, Áspero took the gravel world by storm, heralding a “new era of speed in gravel.” Fun, but flat out. The new Áspero remains true to its original brief, but with some improvements: a threaded BB shell, neater cable routing, and a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger for those who want to use SRAM’s Transmission drivetrains. And it’s more aero, of course. In the case of Áspero, aerodynamic performance is less about pure speed as a result of drag reduction, and more about conservation of energy. After a big day in a headwind, the three watts saved over the previous Aspero might add up to one less energy gel your stomach has to digest—WORTH IT. In addition to the drag reduction, we also dropped the seat stays to give a bit more compliance out back, and reduced front-end stiffness slightly to make the last hours of a long race less painful. Between those dropped seat stays, we added in a bit more clearance for mud, too, taking what we learned from R5-CX (and the Unbound mudfest in 2023). It’s a lot of seemingly small improvements, but they add up to a lot. The result is a bike that feels a lot like the original Áspero, but is faster, more comfortable, and more versatile. THREADED BOTTOM BRACKET Aspero uses the asymmetrical T47a threaded bottom bracket we pioneered on R5-CX. It’s a simple, rider-serviceable interface that allows us to deliver the benefits of BBRight in a more user-friendly form. UNIVERSAL DERAILLEUR HANGAR We used SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) standard on the new Aspero. It’s ideal if you want to live your best ‘business in the front, party in the back’ life with one of SRAM’s Transmission drivetrains today, and ensures compatibility for future drivetrain developments. INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING Aspero shares the same bearing dimensions as R5, Soloist, R5-CX, and Caledonia, which means you can use any combination of bearing caps and stems. The Soloist. It's a name from deep in our history, but immediately familiar to anyone with bike racing memories extending back to the early-2000s. It was the weapon of choice for top World Tour contenders on CSC and the Cervelo Test Team, and we're bringing it back for a new generation. The new Soloist is designed for the week-in, week-out rider and racer who can only justify one high-performance bike. It balances light weight and aerodynamic advantages to deliver a bike that really is 'just right'. Soloist comes in a hair lighter than S5, but significantly more aerodynamic than R5, and borrows the threaded bottom bracket standard you find on the R5-CX. It's a race bike that can accommodate mechanical and electronic shifting, can hammer out the training miles in all weather, and yet still has the chops to leap off the front at that decisive moment. That's the Soloist.

DESCENDED FROM GREATNESS Take one look at the all-new P-Series, and you’ll notice a striking resemblance to our flagship TT bike, the P5. P-Series benefits from all the racing, wind tunnel time, and testing required to make the P5 the fastest TT bike in the World Tour, but adds a couple features that make it a perfect companion for a triathlon of any distance. P-Series uses a fork with a D-shaped steerer tube and round stem interface. This means you can use whichever basebar and extensions you prefer, and make changes if your fit or preference changes. It’s also significantly more adaptable if you have very specific fit requirements. Increased wheel and tire clearance, reduced aerodynamic drag, neater cable routing, and Cervelo’s first internal frame storage all add up to create the bike of choice for those looking to make the most of the time between T1 and T2. FREE SPEED The new P-Series frame is 5.9 grams faster than the outgoing one, but the added tire clearance makes room for the Reserve 52/63 wheels, and 29mm Vittoria tires, which combine for a 30 grams or 3.5 watts savings vs the Reserve 50/Vittoria 28 combo. IN-FRAME STORAGE New this year on the P-Series, the in-frame storage is designed for a tube, small multi-tool, and a CO2 canister. The hatch is easily removable with or without a bottle in place—just flip the lock and pull. FUEL FOR THE RUN In addition to the all-new in-frame storage, we still ship every P-Series with the Smartpak 400, our top tube-mounted bento box, which makes fueling on the bike much simpler without sacrificing aerodynamics. FIT FOR SPEED The P-Series is all about adapting to the athlete. Maximum stack increased to 53mm, and we include spacers to bring the basebar up that high. Fitting and positions are evolving, and P-Series offers the most flexibility in an incredibly fast package.

The fork legs and head tube got quite a bit deeper, and the all-new, one-piece handlebar/stem builds on the original V-stem concept—and gets even faster.



Cervélo and Reserve co-developed the new Reserve 57|64 Turbulent Aero wheels specifically for use in the S5 frame, completing the aerodynamic system.



Aero Aero Aero

The new S5 is 6.3 Watts faster than its predecessor. These gains are realized primarily at the front end of the bike, but the integration of the asymmetric profiles of the seat tube and rear wheel are a significant source as well. Cervélo has long been the aerodynamic leader in the peloton, and we’re confident that the new S5 is at least 5 Watts faster than the bikes of our competitors.



One-Piece Handlebar/Stem

HB19 uses our “Plus-Four” concept, meaning the dimension at the hoods is 4cm narrower than in the drops (e.g. 38cm/42cm). This approach helps riders maintain a more aero body position while their hands are on the hoods, and provides stability in the drops for descending and sprinting. All bar sizes are UCI-legal, even in light of the most recent regulations change.

Despite an increase in surface area, the new S5 is 124 grams lighter than its predecessor. While the increase in fork and head tube depth added weight, we optimized the layup and hardware to make the system lighter.



Reserve 57|64 Designed for S5:

The new Reserve 57|64 wheelset was co-developed by Reserve and Cervélo, and designed for use in the new S5. The rear wheel’s asymmetry matches the seat tube, ensuring air flows smoothly over both. The new wheelset is 3 Watts faster than the 52|63 wheels, and weighs the same.
