Sure, there are plenty of lightweight XC forks out there, but racing demands so much more. Nimble handling, gram-obsessed weight, buttery damping — combined they all make the difference between a good fork and a great fork. And with this in mind, the all-new RockShox SID World Cup Brain fork has been completely redesigned to meet the demands of XC racing, and hyperbole aside, we can confidently say that it sets the bar for race-worthy performance. The new SID has many new features, but the main attraction is its use of our proprietary Brain technology. Made famous on the rear of our Worlds-winning Epic, the Brain system knows the difference between rider and terrain inputs — staying firm in hard accelerations on smooth ground, and effectively soaking up imperfections when the trail decides to fight back. This translates to the highest efficiency possible when hammering up climbs, and smooth compression on the descents — all without ever having to flick a switch. The World Cup Brain edition of the SID is not just a slight upgrade over the RLC and XX models. Along with the integrated Brain technology, it utilizes a carbon fiber steerer and crown, which reduce weight by over 100 grams and increases the overall stiffness. Also adding to the stiffness of is the short-travel-specific design. Leaving the 120-millimeter segment to the trail category, RockShox’s engineers were able to focus on the 80- to 100-millimeter travel range, and therefore develop lighter and stiffer uppers and air shafts. This new design, along with SRAM's Torque Caps (they create an enhanced interface between the hub and fork dropout), Power Bulge technology that reinforces the lowers, and 110-millimeter Boost spacing, keeps torsional stiffness high, allowing you to point-and-shoot while descending. Last, but certainly not least, on the feature spec is the Solo Air spring that’s customizable with RockShox’s Bottomless Tokens. The Solo Air spring lets you adjust pressure with a single Schrader valve that controls the pressure in both the positive and negative air chambers, making adjustments to pressure simple and intuitive. To customize ramp-up preference, RockShox’s Bottomless Tokens can be added to create a suspension curve that’s custom to your preferences. - Tapered, full-carbon crown, and steertube, for optimized stiffness, steering precision, and light weight. - 110mm hub spacing, Power Bulge technology, and Torque Cap compatibility provides un-rivaled stiffness for an XC fork. - Top adjust Brain damper for on-the-fly Brain fade tuning. - RockShox Solo Air spring and Bottomless Tokens make setup easy and customizable. - Designed specifically around 100mm of travel for an optimal combination of weight savings and stiffness. - 29" wheel only - 51mm offset
ShockWiz is a suspension tuning system for air-sprung mountain bikes that combines high-tech hardware with an intuitive smartphone app. Lightweight, durable and powered by a long-lasting coin cell battery, ShockWiz automatically records and evaluates suspension performance every time you ride. The ShockWiz app displays straightforward adjustments that unite bike, terrain and riding style. ShockWiz works for all mountain bike riders, regardless of their experience or bike’s intended use. With ShockWiz, you know exactly how your suspension is performing – and how to make it better. History ShockWiz was a Kickstarter project acquired by SRAM in 2016. SRAM’s data and digital technology brand, Quarq, brought ShockWiz to life. Engineers behind Quarq and RockShox, also part of the SRAM family, worked on the project. Technology The small, waterproof case houses a highly accurate pressure sensor and microprocessor. You connect it to your fork or shock’s Schrader valve and it samples air pressure 100 times-a-second while you ride. Finely tuned algorithms analyze the changes in pressure to detect undesirable characteristics such as pogo, pack-down or bob, and class their severity. If a characteristic is severe or persistent ShockWiz will determine the adjustment required to fix it – baseline air pressure, air spring ramp, rebound, compression – and display this in the smartphone app. The engineering principles behind ShockWiz were derived from thousands of hours of laboratory and on-bike tests. The tests verified that suspension displacement could be interpreted from changes in air pressure. ShockWiz’s algorithms came from detailed analysis of suspension data from all types of mountain bikes and terrain, and using a range of riders – from beginners to racers in the Enduro World Series and Mountain Bike World Cup. Who Is It For? ShockWiz is designed for all mountain bike riders, regardless of their riding style or how much suspension travel their bike has. It works on hardtail and dual suspension bikes, and for all levels of skill, speed and terrain. ShockWiz teaches novices basic suspension tuning concepts and adjustments. It shows experts how one adjustment can affect others and helps them learn advanced tuning concepts. Compatibility ShockWiz works with most air-sprung suspension forks and rear shocks. The fork or shock must have a positive chamber with a single volume. The ShockWiz app is compatible with most smartphones and tablets that feature Bluetooth Low Energy (formerly called Bluetooth Smart). Android devices require Jellybean 4.3 or newer and Apple devices require iOS 9 or newer. PROFILES – CREATION AND USE Quarq has launched a major upgrade to the free app that pairs with its ShockWiz suspension tuning hardware. You can save profiles of your bike, suspension, terrain and conditions, and automatically add settings, suggestions and a results snapshot.

Make a good fork a great fork. Introducing the Luftkappe air piston kit for Fox Float forks. The Luftkappe is available for: 34 Float NA2 (2016-17) Performance & Factory Series (130mm + only - 120mm and lower need the 2018 Evol air shaft before a Luftkappe can be fitted) 34 Float NA2 Evol (2018+) Performance & Factory Series 36 Float NA2 Evol (2018+) Performance & Factory Series 36 Float NA (2015-17) Performance & Factory Series (max 180mm travel, min 120mm travel) Installation tools also available \ Pinkbike: "The Luftkappe's change to the feel of the Lyrik was immediately noticeable on the trail. Traction was increased across chatter and the fork remained higher in its travel and more stable, improving the dynamic ride height without sacrificing the top end. My confidence soared when hitting sections with a lot of chatter and mid to large-sized hits, and the result meant more comfort and speed through such sections." Taking everything we learned with the Corset air sleeves and the Luftkappe we developed for the Pike, Yari & Lyrik, this second generation Luftkappe is a new air piston assembly for Fox's 34 NA2/Evol and 36 Evol forks. User installable and simple to set up, the Luftkappe transforms a good fork into a great fork. - Softer initial stroke - Larger negative air chamber - Increased sag without the associated diving - Coil-like initial & mid-stroke spring rate without excessive bottoming - Increased sensitivity - Improved mid stroke support & control - Superior bump compliance and traction - Reduced hand fatigue - Reduces required compression damping - Retains volume spacer compatibility - Optional tools available for self-install
